What does it do?

Hyaluronic acid-containing fillers absorb water after being injected into the skin, resulting in volumisation and hydration of the overlying skin.

How is the procedure done?

The face is cleaned, and a numbing cream is applied over the cheeks and under the eyes for 30 minutes.
Using a cannula, a channel is created from the cheek to the infraorbital area.
The pre-filled syringe is inserted through the channel, and the filler is injected and moulded to fill the tear trough area.
Swelling may be seen after the injection, which subsides after a period of 2 weeks.
